Let's go save Donkey Kong!

Yeah, there are a bunch of LPs of this game already. I don't blame those people; this game is amazing! But, of course, let's introduce you to the game for those that don't know it.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is the sequel to the cult hit Donkey Kong Country. It's longer, there's more to do, and it's hell of a lot of fun. You play as returning character Diddy Kong, DK's nephew, who tags along with his girlfriend, Dixie Kong, in order to save the captured ape from the clutches of Kaptain K. Rool.

I'm playing this game on my old SNES, which still works well, so I'm not tempted to save state or anything. I'm also playing this on Hard Mode, which removes all of the DK Barrels to claim your partner from. The game makes it up to you by giving your partner to you immediately when you enter a new area, even if it is a Bonus Stage. Granted, this doesn't make it much harder at all, but still...

I'm going to get 102% in this LP, and trust me: I'm good at this game.

In this episode, I begin the adventure on Gangplank Galleon, where DKC1 left off. Diddy and Dixie brave Pirate Panic, sail upward Mainbrace Mayhem, meet up with Cranky Kong, and cross Gangplank Galley.
