Indian pashto speakers (Hindu Pashtuns) migrated from North West Frontier Province during India-Pakistan Partition had to abandon their lavish life in Pakistan and now living in slums of India. Shilpi Batra Adwani, a third generation Hindu Pashtun started an initiative called The Happiness Project where her team helps older community members in repairing their houses ensuring that they live their remaining life comfortably
