Let's take a look at the new 3D Draw feature in Human Anatomy Atlas.
Tap Draw in the Annotate menu to get started.
So I'll first set my drawing plane to intersect the top and the bottom.
Then, I'll select to start drawing.
I want to make a note about how blood flows through the vena cava.
From the palate, I'll select the arrow tool and a nice blue to show blood flow.
Tap where you want the arrow to start and then drag away.
Then, I'll select the pencil tool and black to add some notes to my drawing using a finger, an apple pencil, or any other stylus.
By selecting this icon I can rotate my model again to see inside the heart and set a new plane to draw in that intersects with the ventricle and the pulmonary artery.
Now, I can start drawing again and I'll use the same blue to show the path of blood to the lungs.
I'll move the model one more time to highlight the pulmonary valve here.
I'm selecting red and the circle tool to emphasize how the blood is exiting the heart.
Red doesn't really show up very well here, so I'll hit Clear Drawing and use a blue circle instead.
And here, you have an annotated 3d view of blood flowing in and back out of the right side of the heart.
