My first One City One Night stop is Hat Yai. Hatyai is the biggest southern most city in Thailand and ironically it does not get as many international tourists given it's rich culural and culinary experience.

It partially has to do with the safety that western media usually associated it to be. Is Hat Yai safe? Certainly it is just as safe as any other Thai city,
