"Angel Baby" was a 1960 single by Rosie and the Originals. The group recorded the song independently on a two-track machine in an abandoned airline hangar converted to a recording studio in San Marcos, Ca. Singer Rosie Hamlin was only 15 years old. She had written the lyrics for Angel Baby as a poem for her very first boyfriend when she was a 14 year old student at Mission Bay High School in San Diego, Ca. Rosie continued to perform until 2002 experiencing health issues. She passed away in 2017 at age 71. I remember hearing this song many times on the radio when I was just 11. I have been wanting to cover this song with it's challenging Falsetto lyrics. I hope a few listeners remember this classic song, and thanks for watching and commenting!!! Steve
