Hey Guys, Mahabaleshwar is one of the most beautiful hill station in Maharashtra which is 5 hours away from Mumbai and 3 hours away from Pune. So we decided to spend 3 days here.
Here is what we did in these 3 days.

Mahabaleshwar is settled on the banks of Krishna river and it is said that this temple is the place from where she origins. All temple are very very beautiful. A must visit.

From there we went to a very famous restaurant in Mahabaleshwar known for its Corn Pattice and Strawberry Cream - Bagicha CornerTime: 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM

Venna Lake is just nearby the Bagicha corner, so went for boating. It’s a very toruristy place but we had great time here. There is 2 type of boating paddle boating and rowing boat, we preferred rowing boat with driver. And we paid INR 600. During heavy rains boating is usually closed there. But you can just go for the view and enjoy some snacks like maggi, bhutta.
Time: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

We ended our day in Cafe Peter which is famous for their Korean Menu and coffees. We had some hot Ramen, fries and coffee. Ambience is quite good and it is right in the market area.

Nearby the musuem there is a restaurant which serves authentic Maharashtrain food, so we had some Puranpoli and Milk, Baingan Bharta, Bhakri and Shev Bhaji.

And we ended this day with the one of a kind village in entire India, Village of the Books - Pustakanche Gaav. 35 homes from this village are convereted into library, each home divided as per the Genre. Day 3:
You must be wondering why we haven’t yet visited any view points yet because Mahabaleshwar is a hill station so there must be few good view points, right? So we saved this for the last day and we started our day with one of our favourite view point which is Needle Hole View Point from here you can see the Elephant Head Rock Formation, it’s near Kate’s point.
There are more than 12 view points in Mahabaleshwar but from here the view is just breathetaking.

Mahabaleshwar has been giving tough competition lately to Mawsynram which is known as wettest place on earth, so it is obvious that this place has some beautiful waterfalls but amongst all the most famous one is Lingmala Waterfall. It’s a 3 step waterfall which cascades down to the valley from the height of 600ft.
