Why did Jesus Christ speak of the Generation that would precede His coming ? Why did He specifically say "he that shall endure to the End, the same shall be saved" ?
Why did the Angel tell the Prophet Daniel to "Seal the book, even to the time of the End"
And that "knowledge shall be increased" ?
Why did Jesus say "Therefore take heed HOW YOU HEAR. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.” ?
In 1994-1995 the Worldwide Church of Herbert W Armstrong was shattered to bits. Spiritually the destruction began many decades before with its inception. A judgment would begin on its people long before its collapse. This judgment would continue on after until the end of the Generation.
Around the same time of its collapse knowledge would begin to increase concerning the Moedim (appointed times, Holy Days) of God. In the years to come many people were shown that the Jewish Calendar IS NOT FOLLOWING THE LAW OF GOD.
For example, Genesis chapter 1 "14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light on the earth"
The Lights in the heavens show Time! And they show Time By LIGHT ! They GIVE LIGHT ON THE EARTH. Psalm 81:3Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
Now take a moment to imagine, go back in your mind to the Ancient Kingdom of Israel, and the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) the first day of the seventh month was coming up. How would they know to blow the trumpet ?
Psalm 104: "He appointed the moon for seasons" the word for seasons is strongs 4150. moed) Definition: Appointed time, meeting, assembly, festival.
Now think carefully on this, The mark of the Beast 666 is Lawlessness and we will cover this more in future parts but for now, Understand that the man-made calendars of this World call the moon "new" when it is not in the sky at all! The world's definition of a "new moon" is when the moon sets with the sun, in other words there is greater Darkness in the night sky because the moon is not giving any Light at all at that point. Let me make this point clear, just as the sun sets and is no longer in the sky, the moon also sets at this point and is not in the sky. Now let's say for example, the moon didn't set with the sun even though that is exactly what happens month after month with what this World calls "new moon". Even if the moon was still in the sky it would be giving NO LIGHT WHATSOEVER at that point and you would never with your own two eyes and a telescope no matter how powerful be able to find it. The simple fact is when the moon does not give any light you cannot see it, it is invisible, period end of story!
In Romans 12 we are told " be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind"
In the Book of Daniel we can see insight into how the Beast makes war with the saints.
Daniel 7:25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
The Changing of Times and Laws of God is the way the beast makes war and God's people are given into his hand for a precise period of time to be tried.
Revelation 13:7"And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Again this war being spiritual, a refining process that God is doing in His people. This process would purge out transgression, SIN is the Transgression of the LAW.
Now let's get back to Ancient Israel, it is the end of the 6th month, when would they blow the Trumpet to begin the seventh month ? The True definition from God of a new moon is when the moon is renewed at the first appearance of light. A month ends in darkness and begins anew with Light. WITNESSES WERE SENT OUT TO SIGHT THIS EVENT EVERY MONTH, MONTH AFTER MONTH, YEAR AFTER YEAR.
GOD'S DEFINITION OF NEW MOON STARTS WITH LIGHT, TO GIVE LIGHT ON THE EARTH, SO PEOPLE CAN SEE THE LIGHT AND KEEP TIME ACCURATELY.
THE BEAST'S (THIS WORLDS) DEFINITION OF NEW MOON IS WHEN THE MOON IS COMPLETELY DARK SHOWING NOTHING AND SETTING WITH THE SUN. The Jewish calendar is in Darkness, people that follow it have been in darkness their whole lives, because the Jewish calendar does not keep the Holy days of God. The Worldwide Church of Herbert W Armstrong followed this calendar from its beginning in 1946 and scattered groups continue to follow it today.
