Three students from Izmit Vocational Technical High School in Turkey completed a transformative internship experience in Latvia, supported by the European Union-funded Autocoe 2.0 project. As part of the Centers of Vocational Excellence initiative, this opportunity aimed to enhance green and digital skills in the automotive sector while promoting international collaboration among vocational education institutions.

The students were hosted in Ventspils, a coastal city in northwestern Latvia, and completed their internships at two distinguished organizations: Ventspils Reiss, the city’s public transportation authority, and Bucher Municipal, a global manufacturer of specialized municipal vehicles. Each internship site provided students with unique, hands-on experiences, offering insights into different sectors of the automotive industry.
