"Forged" or "fake" will has no difference in Hindu or other laws. Some of the ingredients to prove that a will is forged is
a) that the Testator (person who writes the will) was either not conscious or with a sound mind as on the date of the will;
b) that the will contains material information which the Testator could have never known during his lifetime;
c) that the Will was stated to have been executed at a place when the Testator was never present at that relevant time;
d) that the signature as contained in the will substantially differs from the normal signature of the Testator... of course, to be established by scientific evidence;
e) that the witnesses attesting the will never knew or seen the Testator; (for example... produce a group photo which also has the Testator and ask the witnesses to identify).
It may be borne in mind that merely because the will is registered cannot give rise to the presumption that the will is not forged
