In today’s video, I’ll show you how to cancel a payment on Venmo. 📲 If you’ve accidentally sent money or want to take back a pending payment, this tutorial will guide you through the process step by step.

First, open your Venmo app and go to the Me section at the bottom right. From there, head over to the Transactions section to see all your payments. This is where you can check the status of each transaction.

There are two situations when it comes to canceling payments. If the payment is pending, you will see the Take Back or Cancel Payment option. Tapping this will cancel the payment and return the amount to your Venmo account.

If the payment has already been completed, you won’t see any cancellation option. In this case, the only way to get the money back is by using the Pay or Request button to request the payment from the other person. This ensures you can recover the amount if needed.
