Basim arrives at the Khurasan Gate Guardhouse on a mission to discover Ali's whereabouts. The operation begins with aerial reconnaissance as Basim uses his eagle, Enkidu, to survey the fortification, tagging guards and identifying key entry points from above. Maintaining a low profile, Basim navigates the rooftops and perimeter walls to avoid detection by the numerous sentries. He reaches a strategic vantage point to eavesdrop on a conversation between two soldiers, revealing that prisoner records are kept in the scribe’s office. Basim then systematically eliminates guards using throwing knives and silent assassinations to clear a path through the inner courtyards. Upon reaching the scribe’s quarters, he retrieves a vital list of prisoners which confirms that Ali has been moved to the Damascus Gate Prison, successfully concluding the investigation at the outpost.
