Air Commodore Harish Nayani (Retd) is a Vayu Sena Medal awardee from the 131st Pilots Course and Kilo Squadron - NDA.

Air Commodore Nayani is a former LCA Tejas Test Pilot who spent many years with the Tejas program during its formative years. He was the first test pilot to fire the R-73 Missile from the Tejas in 2007. He also undertook the first flight of the Tejas PV-3.
