Feather Ornament Tutorial

This lovely feather ornament is a beautiful addition to this year’s tree! Also doubling as a wonderful holiday gift, it’s versatile and simple to make in just a few quick steps.

Supplies Needed:

Clear ornament bulbs

Feathers

Ribbon, twine, or yarn

Step 1:

Open up an ornament bulb and decide which feather or feathers would fit best inside. Arrange them inside by layering or placing them where you like.

Step 2:

Close the bulb and see how you like the placement; it may take a few tries moving the feathers around to get it how you like it!

Step 3:

Repeat with each remaining bulb. Place as many or as few feathers as you would like into each one; you can have fun combining different types of feathers as well.

Step 4:

Attach some yarn or ribbon through the loop and tie it off, making the length however long you like. Use a shorter length for hanging the ornament onto a tree and a longer length for using it as a home décor item.
