The Prussian cavalry trooper sword Model 1852

Officially adopted on Januray 8 1857, the Prussian M1852 replaced the old 1811 sabre as the weapon for all its cavalry units, with the exception of the cuirassiers.

The new model would have some new features that would set it apart from its predecessor; let's check them out.
