Introducing Mappy Hour Maker #3, Juniper Young who made us this amazing custom adventure pack. We love all of Jun's work but are especially excited to share what she's up to since it's #EarthMonth as she's laser focused on sustainability and creating zero-waste products for adventurers.

"Everything is planned around the product's end-of-life impact"

This is her T.A.L.O. Annie Pack and is made of organic cotton thread from Organic Cotton Plus, sustainable canvas from Rawganique, wax from a friend's personal hives in Hyattsvile, MD and steel hardware from Jontay Webbing Source. The materials are either compostable, biodegradable or infinitely recyclable (steel hardware) and sustainably and ethically sourced. She also created a modular design that uses all of the fabric in the construction of the bag.

Along with helping all of us find more adventurers be they outdoor and urban, Jun is on a mission to be a force for good in the sewn goods industry.

We're also excited that her custom bag features our new patch which was made by another D.C. based maker: Stitchback Stories. The patch sits alongside a fun patch from our partner in the maker series, Sierra Nevada.
