Crinkle Cake Recipe | TikTok Viral Phyllo crinkle Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1 Packet of phyllo pastry
1 cup butter melted
1 can of condensed milk
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg

For simple syrup (optional)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
Mix sugar and water cook over medium heat until it starts to boil and sugar dissolves then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Take it off the stove and add 1 tsp rose water if you like. Let it cool.

Pistachios and rose petals for garnish

Method

Start by assembling crinkled phyllo on your baking dish as seen above (fold 1 piece in the middle then fold again to crinkle) pour melted butter and bake for 20 minutes gas mark 4 / 350F / 180C

Make the custard mixture by mixing condensed milk, milk, egg and vanilla. Pour over the baked phyllo then bake again for another 20 -30 minutes or until top is golden.

Take it out pour the simple syrup and garnish. Serve warm and enjoy 😉
