A few tests and removal of the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor on Volkswagen up ! 2013. The engine does not use a Mass Air flow sensor, therefore the engine will use the MAP and Throttle Position sensor as main info colectors regarding the volume of the air . Cleaning this sensor from potential oil or other debris , might help your engine run smoother, depending on other circumstances as well
