બન્ને રાજાઓ પાસે શક્તિશાળી સેનાઓ હોવ છતાં રાજા ભોજે ગાંગેય અને તેલંગ બન્નેને હરાવી દીધા.
અને ત્યારથી આ કહેવત બની કે ક્યાં રાજા ભોજ અને ક્યાં ગંગુ-તૈલી.
