Dark Castle (1986) - Original Macintosh Version!

This is the original version of Dark Castle by Silicon Beach Software. It was released for Macintosh Plus and Macintosh 512k back in 1986. In the years following the Mac releases, several inferior ports were released for various home computers and consoles. These terrible ports ultimately gave this game a bad reputation to gamers.

In my opinion the original is still a great game that's aged well, even all these years later!

Note:
The blue outline around this video is not in the game, but rather due to the way I had to record this video back in 2006 / 2007. Screen capture wasn't very advanced, and I had to record a window running an emulator. Screen capture did not allow me to directly capture the video output, so I did the best cropping I could do at the time to remove the Windows XP window border around the edges of this video.
