Horse Trough Falls is one of my favorite falls that I take friends and family to. This waterfall is located in the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Area just outside of Helen Ga in the lovely North Georgia Mountains. The hike is less than 1 mile roundtrip although a more adventurous person can embark on a much longer 6.7 mile roundtrip version of this hike as well. Perfect for people with mobility issues, the elderly or those who rely on a wheel chair, this waterfall makes it easy for anyone to enjoy the nature and beauty of the North Georgia Mountains.
