Arevatsag Canyon, Lori Province, Armenia Journey Guide

Lori is famous for both manmade and natural monuments. Clean air, mild climate, cold springs, mineral waters, high mountains, deep gorges, lush forests, water-rich and fast-flowing rivers, and waterfalls are an integral part of Lori’s description.
One of the nature-made monuments of the wonderful nature of Lori is the rock of Arevatsag or, as the locals say, Tsits Qar.
This wonderful natural monument is located in the gorge of Arevatsag village, on the shore of Dzoraget. Surely, the “good morning” of the people of Arevatsag begins with his sublime and peaceful image. The rock greets the visitors sometimes with decoration, sometimes boldly, sometimes calmly, and always with the dignity of someone knowing the value of its beauty. And the Dzoraget flows calmly at its feet, completing this heavenly image.
