Romain Vuillemin tries the new Trenier Excelsior archtop guitar

Hey guys, i'm thrilled to present the work of a brilliant luthier this week ! His name is Bryant Trenier, an american luthier who moved to south of France in the town Uzès and who's work is inspired by the great John D'Angelico and Jimmy D'Aquisto's. Make sure to visit him at https://www.trenierguitars.com/ or LeTrenier on Instagram.

For this model (ready for an American customer) he decided to do a D'Angelico tribute, after a New Yorker from the 50s he got to restore. It features a 17 3/4 inches lower bout, long scale and X braced.

I've decided to noodle a bit on Historia de un Amor, but also navigated through parts of Autumn leaves.

The guitar is strung with D'Addario nickel round string gauge 12 (with a 13 for the high e string), i'm using a Gator Dunlop 0.71mm pick and the sound is captured by a Zoom H5.
