There is a lot to digest with the HEROES Act, but the Act does five things:
🟠 Authorizes a second recovery rebate check of up to $6,000
🟠 Continues unemployment benefits increased in the CARES Act to January 2021
🟠 Lengthens the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to 24 weeks instead of 8
🟠 Extends federal student loan interest suspension and payments until October 2021, plus possibly cancels $10,000 of student loan debt
🟠 Provides more money for essential workers

It is a $3 trillion bill. At first it seemed as if the Senate and President Trump would approve the bill. However, the President announced last week that he’d approve a second stimulus package worth $2 trillion.

The focus of the second round of economic stimulus, in his opinion, would focus on job creation for many workers who have lost their jobs.
