Sunsetta is my daughter. She is currently 13, (2024). Sunsetta is a sweetheart, good head on her shoulders, fun, creative, loving, kind hearted soul. Sunsetta has had her share of difficulties in life, already. She has a CF (Cystic Fibrosis) diagnosis and ADD. The CF diagnosis after birth alone, was challenging. The medications and treatments used were time consuming, good, but nothing like today's breakthrough medications. (Trikafta). I figure it can only get better from here. For the last year or longer, she's been taking (Trikafta). It has been a total game changer for everyone. She doesn't have to do her nebulizer/vest breathing treatments every day. She can go longer periods of time now, without the inhalation treatments. She has her childhood now, to be able to let loose more, be herself, and do more. In the past, treatments were 1- multiple times a day. It depended on whether she was sickly with a virus or not. Today, with COVID it is threatening, but she has had it once and made it through that without too much a problem. We've had COVID as well, twice. One of our family members was hospitalized with it. She suffered kindney damage from dehydration. Just know, Sunsetta is doing AWESOME!
