Exploring Italy's Organic Wineries: A Journey Through Tuscany's Brunello Vineyards

Описание к видео Exploring Italy's Organic Wineries: A Journey Through Tuscany's Brunello Vineyards

Our 2022 Italian vacation started in Milan, then spent one day in Portofino, and now we have
arrived in Tuscany and stayed at the 3-star Hotel Vecchia Oliviera,
in the historical center, the town of Montalcino.
From our first impressions:
● The landscapes are monumentally fascinating! Wherever you look, you can draw a
picture.
● Italian cuisine is just great!
● If you are going to work and contact the outside world, forget about it. Everyone should
enjoy it here slowly. Even the WF in the hotel works very slowly)))
● The unhurried course of life is compensated by the expressively active behavior of local
drivers who constantly push you to increase the speed of the car. Special reckless or
intimidating drivers are the drivers of small cars.
Our guide Emma made the tour really fascinating, telling about the family history of the Loakers
who manage wineries in South Tyrol (Weingut Loacker) and Tuscany (Corte Pavone and
Valdifalco), as well as the special philosophy of the processes of creating organic wine. We
walked along the vineyards, heard how plants and soil are treated without pesticides and
herbicides, how homeopathy is used in the care of plants, studied the devices for collecting and
processing grapes, looked into the vaulted cellar, learned about biodynamic viticulture and what
makes the wines of this area so unique.
