The Promise Documentary (by Howard Conder). To whom was the PROMISE made for what we call The Holy Land or the Promised Land? Was it to the Jews, the Arabs or even the Christians?
According to the scriptures in the Holy Bible, one can easily see whom God chose to give the land to but its still causing so much pain and sorrow as much today as it has for the last three thousand years. Will there ever be reconciliation and peace between the Palestinians and the Jews? Again, according to scripture there is hope for a true peace. In the meantime, do continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as Psalms 122: 6 requests.

I spent a month in Israel in 1999 meeting many people whom I interviewed and with the aid of Elizabeth Allen (researcher) and Tom Russell (cameraman), we were blessed to produce this particular documentary and a series entitled Voices from Israel all of which I trust will help you reaching a truthful conclusion as to whom does the Holy Land belong to.


The promise was first made to Abraham (Genesis 15:18-21), then confirmed to his son Isaac (Genesis 26:3), and then to Isaac's son Jacob (Genesis 28:13), Abraham's grandson. The Promised Land was described in terms of the territory from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates river (Exodus 23:31).
