Paco Moto Seat Lowering Kit How-To | ND Miata

ATTENTION: We got part of this install wrong. Read the Paco Moto instructions carefully for steps 7-10. You reused your seat to rail attachment bolts but you ADD their supplied split lock and fender washers. This will negate the need to get new longer bolts at the hardware store.

Then you use the factory E-Torx bolts to bolt the seat to the car in the front but use the Paco provided hex bolts for the rear attachment points.


In this video we show you how to install the PacoMoto seat lowering kit for your ND Mazda Miata MX-5. The kit lowers the seat about 1.2" so you can be legal for track days with some organizations. This can be done in about 1-1.5 hrs for your first seat and quite a bit quicker for your second.
