6L80 Teardown and Inspection (Full Length Version - Please read description)

I show a teardown and inspection of a 2011 6L80 transmission in detail while covering all of the updates made to the transmission between 2007 and 2021. I also provide technical information on obtaining clutch clearances and validating assembly procedures were done correctly when you go back together with the unit. * The correct nomenclature for the 6L family of transmissions is to express the transmission designation without the 'E' on the end, though many (including me) still sometimes refer to it as the '6L80E'.
