Straight Pillars of Eternity gameplay, as long as you considering pondering how to powergame upon leveling up and then choosing the worst possible options for the first half of the episode of the playthrough as gameplay. Even I frustrate myself sometimes.

But hey, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Pillars of Eternity is an RPG by Obsidian, and you don't just play Obsidian's RPGs for the gameplay. You also play them for the narrative. And let me tell you, Pillars of Eternity has a heck of a story. Probably. I mean, I wouldn't know since I've been doing sidequests in Defiance Bay for like 20 episodes, but we've moved past that. We've gone down into the catacombs. We're ready for some of that sweet sweet main storyline.

Remember those jerks we found out were trying to kill us? The Leaden Key? Yeah, those guys are basically a weird religious cult in Pillars of Eternity. In fact, we have one of our crazy Watcher dreams about the same dude who petrified those people and killed our companions from the tutorial. Which was, like, forever ago! It really is tied to the main story, and in this episode we infiltrate The Leaden Key's temple. Apparently, they all wear masks so I go and threaten to beat up an initiate and take his from him. He also tells us their secret passcode so that the mysterious Acolyte, who is also a Cipher but not a Godlike, wont figure out we're deceiving her. Very clever!

Oh, and before that meet up with Helig of Thein, that animancer from the side quest given to us by that old guy. Look, at least the mysteries of an animancer who we thought was dead but actually survived somehow might give us an insight into the lore of the game? I don't know. Instead he just tells us to go to the Sanitarium for some nonsense.
