Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death | The Amateur Sleuth

In my first real episode of The Amateur Sleuth, I am taking a look at MC Beaton's 1992 novel Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death and the 2014 TV episode of the same name.
So, how do they fare against each other? Is Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death better as a book, or does the TV show shine much brighter?
As with anything I do, I am not going to spoil the ending and reveal whodunnit. However, as The Amateur Sleuth, I am going to dig deep, compare and contrast, look at how the plot and the characters work in both versions of the IP and then talk about which one is my preferred medium.
