He’s also written popular THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN films, contributing to a cinematic legacy that continues to impress audiences and break box office records.

Busick is quickly becoming one of the more prominent voices in modern day horror, and yet the writer often draws on his experience of being a fan of these classic franchises for his entire life. He not only co-wrote SCREAM with Vanderbilt, but the surprise cult classic READY OR NOT, and will helm the future of another classic 90s horror franchise, when he completes his writing of FINAL DESTINATION 6.

During the interview, the two discuss how they made they played with the new setting in the Big Apple, Dealing with no Neve Campbell or Sidney Prescott, their homages to Scream 2 and what it would look like if they completed their new Scream trilogy.
