Easy account opening: You can open a Sukanya Samriddhi account at any post office or authorized bank branch. You need to provide the birth certificate of the girl child, along with the identity and address proof of the guardian.

Transferable: The account can be transferred to any part of the country if the girl child's family relocates to another city.
