A lot of attention has been paid to Luke and Lorelai or Rory and Jess but I have found the relationship between Luke and Jess to be the most compelling. I didn't pay attention to this relationship as much when I originally watched the show but upon rewatching the show, I was very touched by how much Luke and Jess evolved and how they bonded.
