Today, I'll be guiding you through a recipe that brings together unexpected ingredients in a surprising way (easy recipe vegetarian glutenfree).
Get ready for a dish that’s as intriguing as it is delicious—something you won't see coming!

Ingredients:
500 g potatoes (preferably waxy)
1 large onion
6 eggs
150 ml olive oil (for frying)
Salt to taste

Instructions:
Stage 1: Chop and Fry the veggies
Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly (about 3-5 mm thick).
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the potato slices to the hot oil and fry for about 10 minutes, until they are tender. Be sure to turn the potatoes occasionally to ensure they cook evenly.

Peel the onion and slice it thinly.
Add the sliced onions and continue frying with the potatoes until the onions are soft and lightly golden brown, which takes another 5-7 minutes. The potatoes should be soft but not crispy.

Stage 2: Prepare the Eggs
Crack the eggs into a large bowl and lightly beat them with a pinch of salt.
Add the warm potatoes and onions to the eggs and gently stir to combine. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Stage 3: Cook slowly
Heat the pan with the remaining oil over medium heat.
Pour the egg-potato-onion mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
Cook slowly over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Occasionally shake the pan to prevent the dish from sticking and to ensure even cooking.

Stage 4: Flip
When the bottom of the dish is golden brown and the edges are set, place a large plate over the pan.
Carefully flip the dish by inverting the pan so that the dish slides onto the plate.
Slide the dish back into the pan with the uncooked side down and cook for another 3-5 minutes, until this side is also golden brown and cooked through.

Serve:
Allow the spanish tortilla to cool slightly before removing it from the pan.
It’s great as tapas, a starter, or a light main dish.
