Making a Custom Viking Hammer for Adam Savage

I am going to a Fan Expo in Dallas and will have the opportunity to meet Adam Savage. I thought it would be fun to make the author of Every Tool's a Hammer, a hammer that houses a sketch pad and drawing tools. Since he already has a Viking helmet that I built a couple of years ago, I thought it was fitting to make his hammer Viking-themed as well. For this build, I used: 24 mm, 10 mm, 6 mm, and 4 mm EVA foam, 48 mm EVA dowel, 1/8 inch plywood, D-ring pivot fasteners, leather, vinyl, suede strips, paper, 1 carpenter pencil set, elastic banding, 2 inc and 1 3/4 inch PVC pipes, contact cement, super glue, leather dye, Plasti Dip, spray paint, acrylic paints, and metallic paint pens. You may also need the following tools: a rotary tool with various bits, a heat gun, and an Exacto knife or box cutter.
