Cat cuddles after a long day are the most comforting. Shadow lay on a soft pillow resting on my stomach, asking for pets and sharing his warmth. He is so gentle, loving, and calm moments like this feel incredibly precious.

Even though he doesn’t look sick on the outside, deep inside he is hurting and fighting a battle we cannot see. Since his diagnosis, he has become even more affectionate waking me in the early morning, meowing softly at night when everything is quiet, and always asking to be close.

Lord, please don’t take him from us yet. I pray with all my heart for a miracle—that his cancer may heal and that he may be given more time with us.
