The film "Trials Superstars" marks the emergence of dirtbike riders as superstars with a remarkable, and controversial, meeting held in Yorkshire in 1976. The top trials riders were invited to attend the Superstars Trial, an event designed to recognise the racers of the day. Wonderful film, with commentary from Stuart Hall, charts the whole meeting as we watch greats like Martin Lampkin, Malcolm Rathmell, Yrjo Vesterinen, Jean Marie Lejeune, Thore Evertson, Charles Coutard and more take on some of the toughest sections ever seen – true Off Road Superstars indeed.
