Guest lecture: Why do we trust models?

In this lecture Baur Bektemirov talks about the treachery of economic models and why we should be prudent in using one, while at the same time highlighting the beauty of some simple models which help us understand better economic processes and make correct economic policy decisions. He presents a few well-known models and gives an example how one can construct a model to study a specific issue.
