Joel Kramer Israel Study Tour - #2 Caesarea Maritima

Описание к видео Joel Kramer Israel Study Tour - #2 Caesarea Maritima

The second stop our Israel journey took us up the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea Maritime, located south of Haifa, Israel. It was established by Herod the Great as a seaport in 30 A.D. He built a magnificent palace, hippodrome and coliseum at the seaport. It was also at Caesarea that the Apostle Peter ministered to Cornelius the Centurion (Acts 10:23-11:18), where Herod Agrippa 1 was eaten by worms (Acts 12:19-24), where the Apostle Paul was imprisoned (Acts 23:23-26:32) and where many Christian persecutions took place. The last segment of this video where Joel reads martyrdom accounts from Eusebius' book, The Church History, has Joel dubbing over his lecture as winds were so strong for a clear recording. You will notice that sometimes his words and mouth don't match. Thank you for your understanding.
