The Safemoon Wallet looks incredible. One question keeps popping up - will people lose a 10% fee when they transfer their Safemoon from Trust Wallet to the the official Safemoon Wallet? Right now most of us are holding Safemoon in our Trust Wallet or similar. Now to understand the next step we need to know a couple of things. Firstly, the word wallet is a bit of a misnomer - it is actually a window on to the Blockchain where your Safemoon tokens are stored. So when you enter your passphrase, the window opens and you can see your token balance. The passphrase is the important bit.
Trust Wallet and MetaMask are both windows on to the blockchain. If you use your passphrase in either of these wallets you will see the same blockchain. You don’t transfer coins from Trust Wallet to MetaMask so there is no transaction, no transaction means zero fee.

My understanding is that the Safemoon Wallet will work in exactly the same way. So you will be able to use your existing passphrase and the Safemoon Wallet will simply open another window to the blockchain. There will be no transaction involved in this process and you won’t lose 10% of your tokens. Fees will still apply during purchase or sale of Safemoon tokens but won’t for HODLING!
