Siemens studio line range | Vario-speed explained! : Demonstrated by making Rhubarb Brioche Pudding & Tikka Coated Cauliflower.

In this series we will be demonstrating different ways of using your studio line appliances!🙌 In this video Helen shows how to use make the most out of Vario-speed. Helen shows different dishes [Rhubarb Brioche Pudding & Tikka Coated Cauliflower] to how Vario-speed, helps to cook your food in a shorter amount of time.

Rhubarb Brioche Pudding

Makes: 4-6
Cooking function:
Vario-speed pure Microwave 600 Watts for 5 minutes.
4D Hot air grilling and Microwave 180C/180 Watts for 10 minutes.
Hot air grilling 180C for 5 minutes.
Prep time: 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

200g Rhubarb
55g Caster Sugar
10-12 slices of Brioche
600ml of luxury custard
55g Demerara sugar

Method:

Wash and slice rhubarb into 2cm pieces and place in an oven proof and sprinkle with the caster sugar. Cover dish with microwaveable cling film, lifting back one corner.

Select Microwave 600 Watts and cook for 3-4 minutes, stir well and cook for a further 2 minutes if required.

In a large oblong dish layer the Brioche slices and the rhubarb, pour over the luxury custard and cook in the microwave combination 4D Hot air and Microwave for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with Demerara sugar and return to the oven for 5 minutes on Hot air grilling to get a crispy top.

Tikka Coated Cauliflower

Makes: 12-20
Cooking function: Hot air grilling 200C/ 360 Watts Microwave combination.
Cooking time: 15 minutes.
Prep time: 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

250ml Natural Yoghurt or Dairy free substitute
2-3 tbsps Tikka paste
2 tbsps Mango Chutney
Gem lettuce

Smooth mango chutney to drizzle.
Fresh coriander to garnish.

Method:

To make the dressing blitz tikka paste, mango chutney and yoghurt together. Place in large bowl.

Cut the cauliflower into bite size florets. Place the cauliflower in a bowl and and toss until thoroughly coated. Marinate overnight or at least for 1 hour.

Place cauliflower onto universal pan with a silicone baking sheet.

Cook for 15 minutes in Microwave Combination setting.

Serve in gem lettuce cups with a drizzle of smooth mango chutney and a little fresh coriander.

Smooth mango chutney can be brought or simply made by blitzing with the addition of 1-2 tbsps of water.
