Van Build Ep. 27: How to build the perfect rotating camper van table. Build your own Lagun table leg and swivel mounting plate for your van, camper, or RV and save money!

Wondering how to make your own cheaper Lagun table leg system alternative for your RV, van, or camper? Today we're installing a swivel table in our Ford Transit high roof camper van, attaching the Lagun style table mount at the front of our van using the factory holes in the column of the van directly behind the passenger seat so we'll be able to use it when we sit in our swivel seat or multipurpose desk/toilet chair!

We also made our own tabletop for the swivel table using salvaged wood and a creative paint stain wash finishing technique and water-based polyurethane. The swiveling table is multipurpose and can function as a computer desk, kitchen counter, dining table, and game table!

The whole project cost for table mount, table leg, and tabletop was $61.58. The standard Lagun table system (not including a tabletop) is currently $199. That means we save well over $100! Other channels have spent less on parts, but we think that was before materials costs skyrocketed to crazy stupid level! We're all about keeping costs down.
