Yousmarg … DragDolan Meadow

Due to inclement weather, the team decided not to venture into high altitudes. Instead, we chose to revisit some cherished memories from our early days with JKMAC. Back when we were freshmen, every Sunday, Sunny Sajad would diligently mark attendance before participants left for hiking. He would always offer invaluable advice during the treks, making each hike a learning experience.

Yesterday, we decided to join JKMAC for a trek to Drugdolan Meadow, a place we had visited last year. However, trekking with the club this time around offered a fresh perspective and rekindled our fond memories. It felt different and special, redressing the experiences of the past.

Drugdolan is a beautiful and lush green meadow located in the Pir Panjal range. The trek begins from Yousmarg and covers a distance of 10 kilometers. The trail is a blend of natural beauty and tranquility. As we made our way through the path, the serene environment and the vibrant greenery seemed to breathe new life into us. The meadow, with its expansive green stretches and the cool breeze, provided a refreshing escape from our daily routines.

The journey was not just about the destination but also the experiences along the way. Each step reminded us of the joys of trekking and the bond we shared as a team. The day was a perfect blend of reminiscing about old times and creating new memories. It was a day well spent, where nature's beauty rejuvenated our spirits and strengthened our camaraderie.

Reflecting on the day, it was clear that revisiting Drugdolan with JKMAC was not just a trek but a meaningful journey into our shared past, celebrating the present, and looking forward to many more adventures together.
