HOW TO: Wakeboard Double Up

Описание к видео HOW TO: Wakeboard Double Up

How to drive and hit Double-Ups!
The double-up is one of the most fun and exciting parts of wakeboarding, but it can be tricky to figure out for both the driver and rider.

This video starts with breaking down how to drive a double up and then goes in-depth with how to hit a double up on a wakeboard.

The first few minutes of the video explain how you approach driving a double-up. Including how you pre-turn, how you choose what angle to hit the wakes at, and how big of a circle to drive. these are all important details for helping the rider get comfortable and consistent double ups.

The second half of the video goes in-depth with how to approach hitting a double-up as a rider. It is tricky, and a little bit different boat to boat and person to person, but it is a ton of fun and definitely worth spending some time experimenting with!

As a rider, my key takeaways are:
1. Start out wide so you have a lot of time to watch your roller on the way in
2. Choose a roller and lock your focus on that one all the way into the wake
3. Stand tall and strong at the wake -- The takeoff is steep so be ready for it! 🚀

Hope this video is helpful for figuring out double-ups! It's something that is super unique to wakeboarding and that extra air time that is possible is so much fun 🙌
