Drumputer was developed with the help of AI over the last month. While it has been successfully tested, it is still in development.
Known issue: Simultaneous playback of WAVs on a track may slow down the beat. Marketing and selling is not permitted

Drumputer User Manual
Overview
Drumputer is a drum machine and sequencer program for the M5Cardputer device. It allows you to create, edit, and play drum patterns with up to 4 instruments and 32 steps.

Main Interface
- The grid shows 4 rows (instruments) and 16 or 32 columns (steps).
- Numbers on the left (1-4) represent instruments.
- Numbers on top represent steps (1-16 or 1-32).
- Filled squares indicate active steps for each instrument.
- The red cursor shows the current editing position.
- The green bar shows the current playing step.

Basic Controls
- Use ',' and '/' keys to move the cursor left and right.
- Press ENTER to toggle a step on/off.
- Use keys 1-4 to select an instrument.
- Press '0' to start/stop playback.
- Use the up or down keys to increase/decrease BPM.
- Press 'E' to toggle between 16 and 32-step mode.

Special Playback Modes
- Press '5' for two-step roll mode (alternates between first two steps).
- Press '6' for reverse playback mode.

File Management

Synchronization
- The device outputs a 2 PPQ (Pulses Per Quarter Note) sync signal on pin G2.
- This allows synchronization with other music equipment.
- The sync pulse is sent twice per beat, aligned with the sequencer's timing.

Tips
- In the WAV selection menu, you can preview sounds as you navigate.
- Saved sequences include BPM, step count, pattern, and sample assignments.
- The 32-step mode allows for more complex patterns.
- Use the roll and reverse modes for interesting rhythmic variations.
The wav files go in the root of the sd memory
with any name but if you rename it this way 1.wav, 2.wav, 3.wav, 4.wav
they will sound by default on each track without selecting anything
