During the month of August, most of my trackside shooting sessions were limited to one location, due to the fact that I didn't have much time to drive much of anywhere else, and thought I'd compile it all into one video to make things less repetitive. While this certainly isn't my best footage I've shot, it's still publishable to my standard. In the time following I've captured much better video at this location, and I have a lot in store!

This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy myself however, as I had lots of opportunities to re-explore Marvin Road/Milepost 30 (I used to come here often as a small child) and see what kinds of shots I can produce. With a wide-open corridor and road acess, this location is a great photo location. One thing to notice is one of the few dragging equipment detectors that scatter the Seattle Subdivision, located at the 30.0 Milepost mark to the very inch, located about a hundred feet south of the grade crossing.

I shot a wide variety of trains from both the BNSF and UP during the month of August, everything from intermodal, mixed manifest, grain, coke, you name it. Lots of different varieties of locomotive power were shot, and a few notable mentions include Q-PTLCHC with an SD75M and H1 painted C44-9W, the Centrailia Turn using GP60Ms and -3 geep rebuilds, and a C-SCMRBG coal drag with Burlington Northern painted SD70-series locomotives.
