Step 1: Elevate your legs to 45-90 degrees by resting your feet on a chair or other stable object, or using several stacked pillows if lying on a bed. Hold this position until the skin appears white, usually between half a minute and three minutes. Step 2: Sit down and flex and extend your feet, and turn your feet inwards and outwards until your legs turn pink which is often between five and ten minutes. Do not have any pressure on the back of the knees. Step 3: Lie down flat on a bed for ten minutes keeping your legs and feet warm with a blanket.
