There are no high rise buildings in Washington DC. The current limit is 90 feet for residential, 130 feet for commercial real estate, and 160 feet for certain areas of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Washington DC has an extensive Metro and Transportation System. Areas around the metro rail are much more dense with condos and retail. Moving further away from the metro station you have more DC Row homes. Even further away, there are more single family homes. Driving, biking and e-scooters are great options for getting around DC. Metro can be limiting late at night and the DC metro rail system is a variable cost system.

Downtown DC is a changing area. At the time of this video in 2023, only 45% of office workers are coming into offices. The city is trying to expand the area and is doing Office to Housing Conversions. The Mayor is trying to expand the area with more residential options over the next 5 years.

There's always many festivals going on and plenty to do. DC also offers parks for a relaxing day. You can choose how busy or relaxed you want to be in DC.
