On "My Car Story" we're in the West Suburbs of IL on 3-26-21.

We're looking at a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in Polo White Paint. The car features a V8 engine with a factory manual 4 speed.

The car's Owner is Dean Puckett. Dean’s Father Elmer purchased this car in 1964. Elmer was the Owner of a Used Car Dealership. Elmer purchased this car from the Owner who was from California for $900.00. He placed the car at the front of his Used Car Lot. People kept coming by just to test drive it, and after a few test drives, Elmer was frustrated that nobody wanted to buy it and said, “Put this one in the back, I’m keeping it.” Elmer passed away a few years ago, however today his Son Dean and I take it for a ride for you to enjoy this original survivor with us.
