Dancing Bear Park Belitsa - Official Documentary

Not so long ago bears were used in the Balkans as a source of income. The owners of the bears would use a variety of very cruel ways to teach the bears how to dance on the music of the violin. These dancing bears were treated miserably and were often underfed.
In 1998 the keeping of dancing bears was declared illegal. In 2000 the organization Vier Pfoten (Four Paws) funded the build of the Dancing Bear Park in Belitsa, near Sophia in Bulgaria. The park took in all the dancing bears in the Balkans and at the moment houses 27 free bears.
In this short documentary you'll see how amazing this park is for the bears, but it will also ask for your help. Because the next challenge is to free the bears in private captivity and the bears in the zoos which are often mistreated as well.
